What’s the Indexing Rate?

This is a bit of a tricky one. When we are talking about indexing, we are talking about Google adding individual pages into its index (and search results). Naturally then, the number of pages that Google will index will vary depending on the quality of those pages. Typically, you can expect an indexing rate of between 10% and 30% per submission. This may be lower if for example your links are spammy in nature, but can also be much higher if your links are say, quality article pages.

Index Assistant is a time-saving automation tool, so the best results will naturally come from the best input.

How long does it take?

You can create as many feeds as you like, of any size (e.g. enormous feeds containing 1,000 links each or a handful of 5 link-per-feed ones) so the time it takes for the program to run will naturally vary. As a rule of thumb, you should expect to be able to sit back for around 15 minutes per 1,000 links whilst using the URL shortener and other process will be quicker. Index Assistant runs completely in the background, and will alert you once it’s finished its run.

How easy is it to use Index Assistant?

Index Assistant has been designed to be very easy to use. Simply input your links, choose your settings, title and description (spin syntax supported) and click GO. No other input or technical experience is needed. What are the Requirements to run Index Assistant?

You will need Windows (XP, Vista or Windows 7), 512 MB of Ram, 10 MB of disk space, Internet Explorer 7 or above and the .NET Framework 3.5.

Do you have a Mac Version?

A Mac version of Index Assistant is not currently available; however users have successfully run the software using Windows emulator programs.

How many computers can I use my License on?

You can install Index Assistant on two computers. However they both can’t be run at the same time, as this can trigger our anti-piracy control system.
